Request quotes in Long Island
Use this page to compare companies on the same basis. This is a directory, not a lead broker: we never sell your contact details. The form below is a preview form; to request quotes, contact the companies directly from their profiles, or write to us and we will pass the request details to the companies you name.
Before you ask for a quote, decide
- What is the job: removal, abandonment in place, or removal plus replacement with a new tank?
- Whether the tank is above ground, in a basement, or buried, and whether it has leaked or is only old.
- Whether a deadline applies, such as a real estate closing or a conversion schedule.
Questions to ask every company
- What exactly is included: removal or abandonment, and which parts of the job are covered, such as cutting, hauling, disposal and restoration?
- How is the job priced: by job, by tank size, or a flat scope price, and what would change the price?
- Who does the work, your own crew or subcontractors, and what permits and county notices does this job require?
- Is this a removal or an abandonment, and what documentation or certificate will I receive when the job is done?
- What does the written quote cover, and what would change it once work starts, such as soil contamination found during the job?
- What soil testing, cleanup and restoration is included at the end, and what happens to the old tank and its contents?
